World Music
It seems the term "world music" has been mentioned for the first time in the 60th by ethno-musicologist R.Brown. In the 1980th this term usually was used in the music industry for different kinds non-Western music. Now the term world music generally applies to a wide spectrum of musical recordings which use different elements of ethnic, tribal and traditional music of the world.

On this site you can listen both popular world music including world fusion, Latin, Flamenco, Irish, Jewish music and ethnic eastern European folk music (e.g. the village music of Ukraine ).
